Project Description:  IBS was part of  a team engaged to perform a rapid, high-level review of key issues, to determine the state of current water wastewater, and related administrative operations; and develop viable options to fully and most effectively implement the goals of the Strategic Plan process. Lagos State Water Corporation engaged IBS as a sub-contractor to Castalia to support its goal of establishing a tariff regime that is cost reflective, assuring short term operations and maintenance cost and, in the long term, the recovery of capital cost and reasonable return on investment. The assignment will cover an overview of the LWC’s technical and commercial operations to clarify financial sustainability conditions and identify areas of improved efficiency. The ultimate outcome of the assignment will be an appropriate tariff regime, supported by a Rate Case which will be submitted to the Regulatory Commission.
